Dr. Kordai I. DeCoteau, in practice for over 10 years, is Board Certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2001. She completed her surgical residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. Dr. DeCoteau attended the University of Miami, FL, on a full academic scholarship as an undergraduate and completing her studies in 1997. She is also a member the Pi Kappa Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Dr. DeCoteau ensures that she is up to date on the new procedures for foot and ankle health care issues such as Radiofrequency Therapy for chronic foot pain and Laser Treatment for Fungal Nails. She uses “cosmetic incisions” on her surgical procedures, leaving her patients’ feet feeling great and beautiful!
Spanish speaking, Dr. DeCoteau has appeared in “El Especialito” newspaper that serves the Hispanic community of NYC and its boroughs and parts of New Jersey.
Active in her community, she is avid member of The Abyssinian Baptist Church where she serves on the Health/Medical ministry. Dr. DeCoteau is the Health & Wellness Coordinator for the Blue Nile Rites of Passage. She is also a planning team member for the proposed Dr. Muriel Petioni Charter School in Harlem, NY.
